Synopsis

A new volcano is forming in Guatemala's Cordillera de Fuego, a phenomenon as awe-inspiring as it is terrifying, seen in opposite ways by different parts of society: for some, a business opportunity; for others, the imminent threat of losing their homes and way of life. At the center of the storm is Paula, a determined volcanologist facing down corruption in her country with a single goal — evacuating at-risk communities to safety.
