Sabrina de la Hoz
Sabrina de la Hoz was born in Guatemala City. Her passion for the Arts led her to study photography and graphic design at Savannah College of Art & Design, with graduate studies in Art History. She has had photos in international auctions and exhibitions.
Her first work in acting was in the Jayro Bustamante film Temblores in 2019. She trained intensively in Stanislavski method acting and in Theater of the Oppressed under Luis Carlos Pineda.
That same year she worked on her second feature, Jayro Bustamante’s La Llorona, which premiered at the Giornate Degli Autori section of the Venice Film Festival. Her work as the character Natalia in La Llorona merited her nomination as Best Supporting Actress in the Platino Iberoamerican Film Awards in 2021.
At present, she is expectantly awaiting the premiere of the next La Casa de Producción film, in which she had an acting role.
